Reference: Design, construction and non-use of sterling date this to 1940-42 - part of the 1940-41 metallic enamel series, for which see Brunialti, Tribute to America, pp. 150, 151. We have seen a pin to this design signed with the MB mark. The fine quality of construction and enamel make the attribution certain.
