Marked: Pat 1801128 on dress clips
Reference: Patent is for dress clip mechanism, A E Waller of Providence RI, dated 1931. Quality of design and construction suggest the attribution. The bangle was pictured in Life Magazine, Jan 1938, in an article about the booming costume jewelry market and the high prices items like this were selling for - some at $100 in 1938.
