Interior & Exterior Glass Surfaces Temperatures for 24-hour Period on Clear Day

This graph compares the interior and exterior glass surface temperatures during a 24-hour period. HOBO data spans from 00:06 on Sunday 4 March 2001 through 23:55 on Sunday 4 March 2001. This particular day was generally clear. The exterior measurement represents the outer surface of the outer pane of a double glazed window unit. The interior measurement represents the inner surface temperature of the inner pane of the same unit. The 2 sensors are offset approximately 12" to minimize interference effects. Isolating a single day's data permits a better view of the cyclic patterns between these 2 measurements.

Questions: Based upon these glass temperature data, why is this thought to be a clear day; what accounts for the reversal of the relative positions of the 2 curves in the afternoon; do the peak temperatures for the 2 glass surfaces suggest anything about the glass, about thermal comfort effects?
