Supply Air, Room Air, and Return Air RH

This graph shows relative humidity in the classroom versus relative humidity at a supply air diffuser and at the return air grille. The measurement period is one week (from 11:05 on Thursday, 15 February 2001 to 11:53 on Thursday, 22 February). The room sensor is attached to middle of the south wall; the supply air sensor is attached to a blade of the diffuser directly in the air stream; the return air sensor is attached to the frame of the return grille in the air flow stream. The days of the week are indicated on the graph.

Question: How is room humidity controlled if the supply air RH is as high as indicated above? What do you think is happening on the weekend?
